RADALKID AC050/50X is an alkyd resin modified with acrylics and styrene, air-drying, intended for fast-drying primers and topcoats for metal constructions.
Main Properties and Application
- Exceptionally fast drying.
- Good gloss and excellent resistance to yellowing.
- Excellent adhesion to steel and aluminum.
- Good resistance to moisture, oils, and lubricants.
- Used for coatings on radiators and agricultural machinery.
Composition of Solid Resin
- 25% dehydrated castor oil.
- 25% phthalic anhydride.
- 30% monomers.

- Lacquer benzine: limited.
- Xylene: complete.
- Solvesso 100: complete.
- Acetone: complete.
- Butyl acetate: complete.
Compatibility
- Short and medium oil-drying alkyd resins: very limited.
- Urea amino resins: limited.
